Answer
Ngwena is a nickname for the former South African cricketer, Makhaya Ntini. The word "Ngwena" is from the Shona language of Zimbabwe and means "crocodile". Ntini was born in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, where there is a large Shona-speaking population. He has often said that he is proud of his Shona heritage and that he sees himself as a Zimbabwean as well as a South African.
