Enda Kenny was a member of Fine Gael, a conservative political party in Ireland. He was the leader of the party from 2002 to 2017 and Taoiseach, or Prime Minister, of Ireland from 2011 to 2017. Kenny was born in Castlebar, County Mayo, in 1951. He was educated at St. Patrick's College, Castlebar, and University College Dublin. He worked as a journalist before entering politics.
