Marie-Thérèse was the Duchess of Angoulême. She was born in 1778 to the French royal family and was the daughter of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. After the French Revolution, she and her family were forced to flee the country. She eventually returned to France in 1814 and was given the title of Duchess of Angoulême.
